It looks like the transfer market is heating up, and one name keeps popping up: Darwin Núñez. His time at Anfield with Liverpool might be nearing its end. Why? Well, Liverpool has their eyes on a new forward, Alexandre Isak from Sweden. Newcastle already said no to a massive €138 million for Isak. But don’t count Liverpool out; they’re expected to make another offer soon.
This puts Núñez in a tricky spot, and AC Milan is now seriously interested. They’re the latest club hoping to sign the former Benfica star. Milan, where Rafael Leão plays his football, is jumping right into the thick of it.
According to reports from the Italian press, the Rossoneri are already talking directly with Liverpool. They haven’t stopped there, either. Milan has also spoken with Núñez himself. He has other options to think about too. Juventus and Al Hilal are both keeping a close eye on him. It’s a real race for his signature.

But what if Milan can’t land Núñez? They have a few backup plans in mind. The club is looking at Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus as a possibility. Another name on their list is Rasmus Hojlund, currently with Manchester United. And if those don’t work out, Kalimuendo from Rennes is also an option the Italian giants are thinking about. It’s all part of the big summer shuffle, and Núñez is right at the center of it.
