Outlook, the Microsoft email service, recovered this Tuesday after several hours with problems and interruptions in its operation that mainly affected users in North America.
The technology company explained in a message on Twitter that had taken action on the affected infrastructure and was beginning to see "a gradual recovery" of the service first thing on Tuesday.
According to Microsoft, the problems could be linked to a recently implemented changewhich caused some users to be unable to send, receive, or search for email through outlook.com.
Although the interruptions occurred mainly in North America, the company explained that accounts from other regions may also be experiencing some "residual impacts" as a result of service difficulties.
