Gamers are not happy with Microsoft. After the company announced new prices for its Xbox Game Pass, the online world quickly turned against them. People started making fun of Microsoft’s own advertising slogans.
One particular slogan, “Two words: More reward,” became a major target for jokes. Xbox Game Pass had posted this on Twitter, talking about how users could earn more rewards. But with the price hike, many users felt this message rang hollow.
two words: MORE. REWARDS.

Many people rushed to reply to Xbox Game Pass’s social media posts. They were upset about the price changes for different plans. That “More reward” slogan quickly changed to “Two words: Cancel Now” in their comments. Even big game stores, like GameStop, joined in with the online chatter.
The Ultimate Game Pass package saw a price jump of over 50 percent. This big increase hit users hard. Plus, the PC Game Pass will also get more expensive soon. This surge in user anger led to a lot of traffic. Microsoft’s own website for canceling subscriptions actually crashed for a while.
