Michael Vaughan’s Problems May Increase In Case Of Racist Comments, Adil Rashid Made Serious ‘Accusations’

Adil Rashid, the England player, backed up former Yorkshire teammate Azim Rafiq’s accusations of racism against Michael Vaughan, saying he can confirm that the former captain’s comments were directed at Asian players.

Rasheed, a member of the England team that reached the semifinals of the T20 World Cup, said he is willing to cooperate with any official investigation to probe Rafiq’s claims.

Rafiq has made accusations of institutional racism against Yorkshire. Vaughan was his former captain and Rashid still plays for him. He claimed that Vaughan told a group of Asian players before a game in 2009 that their numbers were too high and that something had to be done.

Rasheed was quoted by ESPN Cricinfo as saying, “I wanted to focus on my cricket and not do anything that would harm the team, but I can confirm that Michael Vaughan made that comment for the group of Asian players.” Did.
