Australia vs Pakistan

The start of Pakistan’s tour of Australia was nothing less than a nightmare. They suffered a huge defeat by 360 runs in the first game of the three-match Test series played at the Perth ground. Pakistan had just 89 runs in the second innings, with everyone from Babar Azam to new Test team captain Shan Masood and Imam ul Haq disappointing with the bat. After that shameful defeat against Pakistan, former England captain and veteran player Michael Vaughan, who enjoyed it, tweeted on social media in which he also mentioned the Indian team.

Only India can compete with Australia domestically

Over the last 10 years, the Indian team has excelled in the Test format both at home and away, with Team India managing to win the Test series in their last two consecutive tours of Australia. With this in mind, Michael Vaughan tweeted after Pakistan’s defeat in the Perth Test that Australia have what it takes to get themselves back into the game in any situation and that is why they are a great team. Congratulations to Nathan Lyon on completing 500 Test wickets. As of now, India is the only team that can give Australia tough competition at home as they have the weapons to take on the Kangaroo team.

Hazlewood and Starc performed amazingly with the ball in the second innings.

On the fourth day of the Perth Test, Australia declared their second innings by 233 runs and gave Pakistan a big target of 450 runs. Afterwards, the Pakistan batsmen were clearly under the pressure of this big target and the team had lost half of their team by 56 points. This includes the wicket of Babar Azam, who returned to the pavilion after scoring 14 runs. After that, the Pakistan team was reduced to 89 runs. For Australia, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood took three wickets each in this innings, while Nathan Lyon took two wickets.
