Legendary pop star Michael Jackson’s black hat is going up for auction. The hat will be auctioned in Paris, France next September. It can be procured there for 60 thousand to 1 lakh Euro (about 70 lakh 86 thousand to 1 crore 18 lakh taka). About 200 memorabilia from the world of music will be raised in that auction. News – AFP
Jackson wore the black hat while performing ‘Billie Jean’ at a 1983 Motown concert. During the performance of the song he performed the ‘moonwalk’ dance, which later became his ‘trademark’.
Organized by ArtPages and Lemon Auctions, the auction will also include a guitar by American singer T Bone Walker, a suit by British singer Martin Gore and a gold medal by American singer Madonna.
