The MIBR esports organization hit a major milestone, earning a spot at the VALORANT Champions 2025 world championship. This is a huge deal, marking the first time the team has qualified for this elite global event. To celebrate, MIBR recently unveiled a special jersey for fans. They launched this new team gear this past Tuesday, the 26th.
This achievement makes MIBR the fifth Brazilian team ever to reach the VALORANT world championship. Past teams that made the cut include Vikings, Vivo Keyd Stars, FURIA, and LOUD. MIBR’s qualification for the Champions tournament came after some help from other teams in the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Americas playoffs. Leviatán, Sentinels, and G2 played roles that opened the door for MIBR to secure their spot.
The VALORANT Champions 2025 tournament is set to take place in Paris, France. The action kicks off on September 12th and will run until October 5th. MIBR doesn’t yet know who their opponents will be, nor which group they’ll play in at the start of the championship. One more team from the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) still needs to qualify to complete the lineup.
