It looks like music runs in the family for Machine Gun Kelly. The rock star recently gave fans a peek at his daughter, Saga Blade, sporting a cute onesie with a pink guitar print right on the front. It’s a sweet nod to her dad’s musical world.
The photo didn’t show Saga’s face, keeping her privacy intact. It was part of a series of pictures Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, shared on Instagram this past Thursday, September 25. The tiny tot, who is six months old, sat in a pink baby chair, holding a plush toy in the endearing snapshot.
Kelly, 35, posted the images to social media to celebrate a big milestone. His 2020 album, Tickets to My Downfall, is getting a re-release. In many of the pictures he shared, the musician is holding a bright pink guitar, looking a lot like the one on Saga’s little outfit.
"Five years ago, pop punk came back to life," the singer wrote in his Instagram post. "For the rest of this year, we’re celebrating the fifth anniversary of this album. We have five unreleased songs from that era that we are mixing right now to release as soon as possible. Also, a coffee book with behind-the-scenes images from the recording process, new merchandise, a tour, and more. TICKETS TO MY DOWNFALL, I LOVE YOU 🎟️."
Kelly first announced Saga’s arrival into the world back in March. He wrote then, "She’s finally here! our little heavenly seed 🥹💓♈️♓️♊️. 3/27/24." He also shared a video of the newborn on his Instagram at that time.
Saga is Kelly’s second daughter. He also has a 16-year-old daughter named Casie with his former girlfriend, Emma Cannon. Meanwhile, Megan Fox, known for her roles in Transformers, is a mother to three sons: Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 9, all with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
Reports from a prominent news outlet, Us Weekly, confirmed that Fox and Kelly were "officially dating" in June 2020. This news came about a month after rumors of their romance first started. The couple got engaged in January 2022. However, they later separated in November 2023, after announcing they were expecting a baby.
Despite their romantic split, Kelly and Fox are making an effort to raise Saga together in a friendly way. It seems co-parenting is going well for them.
Just recently, on September 18, Kelly appeared on Jennifer Hudson’s talk show. There, he had nothing but praise for Fox while talking about their daughter.
"My family is Norwegian, and there’s a Norwegian goddess named Saga," Kelly explained. "It means ‘epic story.’ So we named her Saga because bringing her into this world, with all its ups and downs, truly felt like an epic story of love, pain, and a whole lot of magic."
He went on to say, "I had Saga with the best partner, honestly, the best partner I could have asked for to have a child with, because she is an amazing mom."
When asked about who Saga takes after, Kelly laughed a bit. "We keep going back and forth about who she resembles," he shared. "Last month, she looked exactly like me, and now she looks exactly like her."
