Mexico Earthquake: A magnitude 6.8 earthquake in Mexico’s capital damaged several buildings and killed two people. The tremors of the earthquake were felt at around 1.19 pm on Wednesday night. Two people were killed in a 7.6-magnitude earthquake that struck western and central Mexico three days ago. According to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter of the quake was in western Michoacan near the Pacific coast at a depth of about 24.1 km. The epicenter of Monday’s quake was also in Michoacan. Michoacan’s local government said the tremors were felt across the state.

Earthquake again after 3 days

A building was also damaged in Uruvan and a landslide occurred on the highway connecting Michoacán and Guerrero to the coast. There was no immediate information about any loss of life or property. Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador tweeted that it was the aftermath of Monday’s earthquake, which was also felt in the states of Colima, Jalisco and Guerrero. Mexico City Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum said on Twitter that a woman died of a fall while descending stairs at her home, while another man suffered a heart attack.
