The gaming world has a new success story. Metaphor: ReFantazio, a game series from Atlus, has smashed sales records. It’s been almost a year since the game launched.
According to SEGA SAMMY’s latest management report, Metaphor: ReFantazio has sold over 2 million copies across all platforms. The game launched on October 11, 2024, and quickly surpassed 1 million sales in just one day.
Other SEGA games are also doing well. The report mentions that Sonic Shadow Generations has sold over 2.3 million copies. This surge in sales might be due to the release of the Sonic The Hedgehog 3 movie late last year.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
