Metal Gear Solid Delta Surpasses 1 Million Sales on Day One Across All Platforms

The classic spy action game, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, just had a huge first day. The updated version quickly sold over a million copies. This happened on its very first day on store shelves and digital storefronts.

Konami announced this impressive sales figure. They confirmed that the game passed the one-million mark for both digital downloads and physical copies. This includes all game systems it launched on. It seems even Konami found this initial success to be better than they had hoped for.

For those new to the series, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a modern take on Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. That original version first came out on the PlayStation 2 way back in 2004. Developers brought its special old-school parts into today’s gaming world. They added much better graphics, too. Players get to jump into a tense Cold War spy mission. The game also tells a powerful story that really sticks with you.

You can grab Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater right now. It is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and personal computers.
