Meta Launches Ray-Ban Smart Glasses in India on May 19

Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses are now available for pre-order in India, starting at 29,900 Indian rupees. The glasses will hit stores on May 19 and can be bought on Ray-Ban’s website.

What You Get

You can choose from classic Wayfarer and Skyler styles in various lens options, including polarized and photochromic lenses. The glasses also work with prescription lenses.

Smart Features

The Ray-Ban Meta glasses come with Meta AI, which lets you control them with voice commands. You can ask questions about what you see, get directions, and translate languages in real-time. The glasses support English, French, Italian, and Spanish, and can even translate offline. Unfortunately, they don’t support Hindi yet.

You can also use the glasses to send messages on WhatsApp, make calls, and stream music from Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. They also work with Shazam and let you livestream on Instagram and Facebook.

A Popular Product

Meta teamed up with Ray-Ban to create these smart glasses, which have been a hit globally since their release in 2023. Over 2 million pairs have been sold worldwide. With India’s massive population, Meta is hoping to expand its customer base and stay ahead of competitors like Google, Samsung, and Apple.
