Messi, ambassador of Saudi Arabia

Together with his compatriot and teammate Leandro Paredes, the Argentine star landed in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Monday to be received by Ahmed Al Khateeb, Minister of Tourism of the Middle Eastern country. And it is that, as reported from France, Leo Messi has been appointed ambassador of Saudi Arabia, a country bordering Qatar, which is the owner of Paris Saint-Germain and in which the 2022 World Cup will be played.

The Saudi minister himself published a welcome message for Messi on social networks, along with two images of the Argentine: “I am happy to welcome Lionel Messi to Saudi Arabia. We are delighted that he will explore the treasure of the Red Sea, the Jeddah station and our ancient history.. This is not his first visit to the Kingdom and it will not be his last”. In the case of the “Jeddah station”, it is an artistic and cultural event, lasting 60 days, during which a multitude of activities take place , concerts and international exhibitions throughout the city.

For his part, the PSG ’30’ shared a post on his Instagram account accompanied by two photographs from a boat looking out to sea and with Leandro Paredes. “Discovering the Red Sea in Saudi”wrote.
