Meri Zindagi Hai Tu Hits 1 Billion India Views Before Finale

The Pakistani television series “Meri Zindagi Hai Tu” has become the first drama from the country to surpass one billion views on Indian YouTube while still in its initial broadcast run. The viewership milestone arrives as the production approaches its conclusion, following the broadcast of its penultimate episode on Saturday, March 14.

Directed by Musaddiq Malek, the series stars Bilal Abbas Khan as Kamyar and Hania Aamir as Dr. Ayra. Beyond its commercial metrics, the drama has generated significant cross-border viewership alongside intense domestic debate. Audiences have actively discussed the show’s portrayal of obsessive behavior and coercion within modern relationships, centralizing on the framing of Kamyar’s character arc.

The streaming milestone in India occurred despite ongoing regional broadcasting restrictions. Following the April 2025 Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian government banned several official Pakistani YouTube channels, including the primary ARY Digital network. To bypass these restrictions and maintain access to the cross-border market, producers uploaded the episodes to alternative channels such as “Top Pakistani Dramas.”

Premiering in late 2025, the series initially broke records by becoming the fastest Pakistani production to reach one billion global views in 22 episodes. Supported by high production values and the recognized on-screen dynamic of its lead actors, the drama continues to dominate the entertainment landscape as viewers await the final resolution.
