Members of the National Council of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Promipyme), under the #RutaMipymes dynamic, visited the municipality of Peralta, in the province of Azua, where they held a meeting with the provincial authorities and merchants of the productive sectors that are working to boost the economy and jobs in the area.
The visits included exchanges with micro, small and medium-sized businessmen producing different areas of local, national and export distribution, especially with textile and coffee growers, industries that represent the largest number of new jobs, a fundamental part for the promotion of financial support and accompaniment to these projects, according to a statement from the entity.
The meeting was led by the CEO of Promipyme, Porfirio Peralta; the mayor of the main municipality of Azua, Ruddy González; the mayor of the municipality of Peralta, Magnolia Ramírez; the administrative financial advisor to the Presidency, Víctor Sánchez; the manager of the southern region of Infotep, Luis Beltrés Minaya; the community leader of the Peralta municipality, Wader Rossó; among other important authorities, merchants, associations, producers, entrepreneurs and members of the MSMEs sector in the area.
“We are here in this important agro-industrial area of so many important products of mass consumption, especially coffee and the textile industry, to create growth opportunities, both for the MSMEs involved and for the inhabitants who demand a job to be inserted in the agricultural evolution national, because the Dominican countryside is experiencing its best moment ”, emphasized the general director of Promipyme, Porfirio Peralta.
The #RutaMipymes main objective is to receive first-hand information, needs, proposals, suggestions, ideas, from merchants in their business areas and to be able to use them, to provide them with opportunities and benefits that encourage the development of their projects and at the same time , allow to inject financing and advantageous advice.
