The Piratas de la Guaira organization announced this Thursday Melvin López as its technical director for the 2023 season of the Professional Basketball Super League (SPB).
The Dominican, who has almost 30 years of experience, has to his credit being a two-time champion coach in his native Dominican Republic.
“I am very happy, this is my first experience directing in Venezuela, it is a great challenge,” said the DT in statements shared by the team.
“My work philosophy is clear… We will achieve the Caribbean style, that happy but above all organized game,” he added.
