On May 21, 1993 Citizen Cables started their journey. The organization named their anniversary as ‘Citizen Day’.
Citizen Cables has been conducting various social activities on the occasion of Citizen Day for the past few years. The awareness program under the slogan ‘Clean Dhaka, Green Dhaka’ and ‘Say No to Drugs’ against drug addiction received huge appreciation with the aim of building a healthy and pollution free country.
This year on May 21, Citizen Cables joined hands with Quantum Foundation and organized a blood donation program with the slogan ‘Rakta div samahi mille, Hasbe jiban prana khele’- in front of this slogan.
Actress Meher Afroz Shaon was present in this program. He said, ‘Citizen Cables’ social initiatives are beneficial for the society. I am always associated with such charitable works.
About the blood donation program, he said, ‘The blood donation program organized by the joint efforts of Citizen Cables and Quantum Foundation will encourage people to donate blood and will go ahead to fulfill the goal of building a healthy, beautiful country.’
