Meghan Markle recently shared some heartfelt thoughts about her husband, Prince Harry. She said he truly loves her and pointed to the wonderful life they’ve built together. This includes their two healthy and beautiful children. Meghan feels like they are now in a "honeymoon phase," enjoying each other in a fresh way after seven years of marriage.
So, it was no surprise that Meghan, now 43, honored Harry’s 41st birthday with a sweet public message. On Monday, September 15, she posted a throwback photo of Harry. The picture showed him in his military uniform from his time in active service. "Oh, hello, birthday boy 🔥," she wrote, celebrating her prince. Last year, she made sure his birthday was special too, throwing a big party at their home in Montecito, California.
Harry and Meghan got married in 2018. They welcomed their son, Prince Archie, in 2019. Their daughter, Princess Lilibet, arrived in 2021. A year before Lili was born, the couple decided to step back from their duties as working royals. They then moved to sunny California.
Back in April, during an interview on the "Jamie Kern Lima Show," Meghan couldn’t stop praising Harry. She called him "a hunk" and added, "My husband is very handsome, but his heart is even more beautiful." She even compared him to a hero from a video game. "I always think of the end of Super Mario Brothers, when you reach the last, last level and… the goal is ‘Defeat the dragon, save the princess.’ And I think: ‘That’s my husband.’" She explained that Harry "is always there, simply — he will always do everything possible to make sure our family is safe and protected, we are encouraged, and we still have time for date nights.’"
Harry has often spoken about how important it is to protect his family. This led him to take legal action to ensure Archie and Lili would have security when visiting England. Sadly, Harry lost his legal appeal earlier this year.
"I can’t imagine a world where I would bring my wife and children back to the UK right now," Harry told the BBC in May. "I love my country, I always have, despite what some people in that country have done."
The ongoing battle over security has also caused some strain with his father, King Charles III, and his brother, Prince William. "I would love to reconcile with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight," Harry shared with the BBC. "There have been many disagreements between some members of my family and me."

Harry recently made a solo trip to England. There, he visited his father, King Charles, who is 76. Charles has been battling an undisclosed type of cancer since 2024. When asked by reporters on September 10 about the long-awaited reunion, Harry simply said, "Yes, he’s doing very well, thank you."
