Meghan Celebrates, Prince Harry Stoic After Dodgers 2025 World Series Win

Prince Harry appeared less than thrilled after the Los Angeles Dodgers secured the 2025 World Series trophy. His visibly subdued reaction contrasted with the celebratory mood around him.

The Duke of Sussex watched Game 7 of the World Series on Saturday, November 1, alongside Meghan Markle and friends. The Dodgers defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 5-4 in an 11-inning battle against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Meghan’s friend, Kelly McKee Zajfen, captured the moment on Instagram Stories. She playfully teased Harry, writing, "Best game ever! Sorry, H, your team didn’t win, but mine did! @Dodgers I LOVE YOU!"

Meghan herself shared a glimpse of the home celebration following the win. She was seen dancing with the founder of Alliance of Moms.

Prince Harry remained stoic in a recliner, looking perplexed during the festivities. Meghan concluded her celebration with a kiss from the Duke.

Despite Harry’s visible disappointment, the couple had previously shown support for the team. They attended Game 4 of the World Series in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 28.

For that game, both Harry and Meghan wore matching Dodgers baseball caps. The couple relocated to California, Dodgers territory, in 2020 after stepping back from their royal duties.

Meghan recently spoke about her strong bond with Harry on Jamie Kern Lima’s podcast in April. She praised his character and commitment.

"He’s a heartthrob, in case you hadn’t noticed," Meghan said. "My husband is very, very handsome, but his heart is even more beautiful."

She continued, "That man loves me so much and, you know, look at what we’ve built. We’ve built a beautiful life and have two healthy and beautiful children."

The couple shares two children: Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4. Meghan revealed they are still in a "honeymoon period" after seven years of marriage.

Meghan likened Harry to the hero of the Super Mario Brothers video game. She stated he is always there to ensure their family is safe and protected.

She added that he still makes time for their date nights. Their family outings and romantic evenings are increasingly shared on their official Instagram account.

Meghan discussed her return to Instagram on Emma Grede’s "Aspire" podcast in June. She described the experience as "liberating."

"I returned, I started the account in January of this year," Meghan explained. "Part of it is just being able to authentically and in real-time share things that are happening."

She hopes her content can make someone laugh, enjoy, or inspire them. Meghan had previously closed her personal Instagram account and her lifestyle blog, The Tig, before her 2018 marriage to Harry.

The Tig, launched in 2014, focused on her life, charity work, travels, and culinary passions. She now offers similar content through Netflix’s With Love, Meghan.

During a Forbes panel last month, Meghan hinted at more episodes for the Netflix series. She noted that eight episodes across two seasons was significant work.

"After doing Suits for seven years, I remembered everything that production entails," Meghan stated. She acknowledged the public desire for content in various formats.

She concluded by saying they are "exploring all options of what it could look like."
