McLaren fishing at Red Bull

McLaren has announced reinforcements for the 2024 season and they will not be behind the wheel of the single-seaters. It will be to reinforce his technical area. specifically the house of Woking will incorporate Rob Marshall as technical director of engineering and design for his Formula 1 team.

Marshall joins McLaren after 17 years in Red Bull Racing, especially as Director of Engineering. His appointment is one of the fundamental steps taken by the team to shore up its path to the front of the grid, says the team in a statement on the Andrea Stella, team manager, assesses the arrival in this way: “We are a team with the ambition to fight for the championships, but in the last two seasons we have not shown a constant upward trend from the point of view of competitiveness on the track. In recent months, we have worked to reverse this trend. The approach we have taken is global and based on strengthening the team from the point of view of people and experience, together with ongoing projects to improve technology and infrastructure, which will soon bear fruit.”
