McFadden leads an easy win for UCAM

The UCAM Murcia This Saturday he achieved his first victory of the season by clearly beating Casademont Zaragoza by 64-81 thanks to a great Thad McFaddenwho practically decided the match in the first half with his incredible baskets as he allowed the visiting team to take a difference that made their rival insurmountable.

McFadden was unstoppable even though his team had the invaluable help from the rival because it will hardly be possible to find in many years ago a worse start to the game than the one that starred the Aragonese team in the ACB.

In some disastrous initial minutes, UCAM Murcia, with a great defense and an excellent Thad McFadden (17 points in 7 minutes without failure, with 4 of 4 triples and 18 PIRn) destroyed the hand team that went on to lose by 18 (7-25) in minute 7 although finally, with the departure of the second unit, they began to react and finished the first quarter twelve downor (17-29).

The reaction had its continuity in the second quarter because the set of Martin Schiller his intensity in defense increased quite a few points, which began to make it more difficult for his rival to score, and that allowed him to reach cooldown time with a disadvantage of ten points, that psychological difference that always gives hope to the team that is behind.

After the break, Sito Alonso’s team took control of the game again after the break and took advantage of the mistake in the Zaragoza team’s shots (4 of 15 shooting from the field) in these ten minutes to prevent the local reaction from continuing, entering the decisive quarter with 14 points ahead (45-59).

Not even the local improvement in tripleswith four in a row at the start of the last quarter, managed to close the gap because the pepper team managed to score as well, so the differences were barely reduced.

That allowed the foreign team to end up winning with solvency because the final rush to try to shorten distances made the Aragonese team failed again to kill a stat which, as happened after the game against Monbus Obradoiro, was once again disastrous in the shots (35% on field goals).
