McCutchen, Peralta and Adames help Milwaukee stop losing streak

Andrew McCutchen and Kolten Wong each drove in two runs, and the Milwaukee Brewers ended their losing streak with a 5-3 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday night.

The Brewers won for the second time in eight games. They are 2-5 and have lost the top spot in the NL Central since trading All-Star closer Josh Hader to the San Diego Padres last week.

Yandy Diaz hit a two-run homer for the Rays, Brewers center fielder Tyrone Taylor jumped to catch a ball and rob David Peralta of a home run in the second inning.

Freddy Peralta (4-2) struck out four, allowing two runs on two hits and no walks in five innings in his second start for Milwaukee since returning from the disabled list. Peralta, who threw 65 pitches Tuesday, missed 2 1/2 months with a shoulder injury.

For the Rays, Cubans Yandy Díaz 3-1 with a run scored and two RBIs, Randy Arozarena 4-0. Venezuelan David Peralta 4-1 with a run scored. The Mexican Isaac Paredes 1-0.

For the Brewers, Dominican Willy Adames 3-2 with a run scored. Mexican Luis Urías 3-1 with a run scored.
