Mazzel, Aarsjoe and Forster achieve the double in the Espot Para Ski World Championships

Mazzel’s victory in Vision Impaired he cemented himself thanks to his times of 58.54 in the super giant and a record of 1:01.41 in the slalom for a total of 1:59.95. For his part, Aarsjoe achieved in the Standing class a time in the super-giant of 57.59 and a record of 1:00.85 for a total of 1:58.44. Meanwhile, in the Standing class, Anna-Lena Forster He marked a time of 1:03.58 in the giant and in the slalom he set the time in 59.55 for a total of 2:03.13.

Yes, there were different champions in the alpine combined in the men’s category, where the Austrian Johannes Aigner won in the Vision Impaired category with a mark of 1:44.24. PFor his part, the Frenchman Arthur Bauchet prevailed in the Standing class with a total record of 1:47.93, while the world title in the Sitting class went to the Norwegian Jesper Pedersen with a time of 1:47.82.

The competition will continue in Espot this Wednesday, January 25, with training and the subsequent competition in the descent mode of these Para Ski World Championships that will continue to hand out medals on the snow.
