Rashmika Mandanna was the leading actress opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Animal, but all the limelight was stolen by actress Trupti Dimri.
Trupti Dimri gained huge fame through Animal and due to this, the lead actress of the film Rashmika became somewhere anonymous. Now Prannoy Reddy Vanga, producer of ‘Animal’ and brother of ‘Animal’ director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has spoken about it. During an interview with iDream Media, Prannoy said that according to him, Rashmika did not get the fame that she should have got based on her character.
Rashmika Mandanna played the role of Ranbir Kapoor’s wife Geetanjali in Animal. But Tripti Dimri stole all the limelight. Talking about it, Pranay said that Geetanjali is a very powerful character. Rashmika has done a very good job in the film. He is one of the top three actors. According to Pranay, Rashmika’s role was the best after Ranbir Kapoor and in such a situation, after Ranbir and Bobby Deol, Rashmika should have been talked about.
Pranay further says that Trupti gained a lot of fame from the film but no media in Mumbai writes much about Rashmika.
