Mauro Icardi rules out leaving PSG

The PSG is working on a major cleanup of its squad for next season with the intention of starting a new project with the arrival of a new sports director and a new coach, pending the confirmation of Mauricio Pochettino’s departure. Many players will leave the club, but one of those who will stay is Mauro Icardi or, at least, that is what he confirmed on his Instagram account.

“I still have a contract with Paris Saint-Germain for the next two years. My career is not in danger as you say [los periodistas]. I have decided to stay here at PSG. Don’t worry, I’m still 29 years old and people know who I am after scoring almost 200 goals.” Mauro Icardi, who arrived in the summer of 2020 for 50 million euros from Inter Milan, finished the season with 5 goals in 30 games, being a substitute in the vast majority of games.
