Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Omari passed away

New Delhi: Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Omari, a well-known religious scholar, author of several books and former Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, passed away at the age of eighty-eight.

Active in Muslim rights movements in India, Maulana Jalaluddin Omari was also a graduate of Jamia Dar-ul-Salaam, Umarabad, Madras University and Aligarh University.

According to media sources, Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Omari passed away at Al-Shafa Hospital organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind on the last day at around 8:30 am.

It should be remembered that Maulana Jalaluddin Umari was also the Vice President of All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Maulana Jalaluddin Umari had four dozen different works.

Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Omari breathed his last at Al-Shafa hospital run by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind at around 8:30 pm today.

Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Omari was the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind for three consecutive times. He was first elected as Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind in 2007, before that he was performing the duties of Naib Ameer.

Maulana Umari’s entire life was spent in cultivation of Tehreek-e-Islami. He was originally from Tamil Nadu but spent most of his life in North India.

Served in the Author Academy Aligarh for a long time. Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umari was the best speaker and author of more than 50 books.

Maulana Jalaluddin Umari was considered one of the great religious scholars of the present age, and was currently the Chairman of the Shariah Council of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. His works have been translated into many languages ​​including Arabic, English, Turkish, Malayalam, Telugu, Marathi.
