Masked Singer Mexico Surprise: Two Iconic Actresses Revealed

Two prominent actresses were unmasked during the latest episode of “Who is the Mask,” surprising viewers and judges alike. Cynthia Klitbo, known as “Ruby Gloss,” and Maribel Guardia, performing as “Mini Chang,” revealed their identities on the popular show.

Mexican actress Cynthia Klitbo was the first to be discovered. Investigator Carlos Rivera successfully guessed her identity, a feat also achieved by Anahí. Klitbo acknowledged Rivera’s correct guess.

The 58-year-old actress explained the personal significance behind her character, dedicating it to the trans community. She spoke about a late uncle, Liz del Sol, who was one of the first trans women born in the late 1940s. Klitbo said she chose the character in honor of her uncle and her many trans friends.

Later in the night, Rivera made another accurate guess, identifying Costa Rican actress and singer Maribel Guardia as “Mini Chang.” Guardia, 66, expressed her joy at participating. She stated she had a lot of fun on the show.

Guardia described the experience, noting the enjoyment came from getting into the character and forgetting the discomfort of the costume. She also commended the production team for their energy and praised Rivera’s “incredible musical ear.”

Remaining in the competition are characters such as Tony Manguera, Hieny Fer, Capibara, Carroñero, Maestro Bops, María Ovina, Nocturna, Federico García, Metaliebre, Samurai, Sony Hámster, and Tropicoco.

The panel of investigators features Anahí Puente, Juanpa Zurita, and Carlos Rivera. Ana Brenda Contreras has joined the team, replacing Martha Higareda, who is on maternity leave.

The next episode of “Who is the Mask” is set to air on Sunday, November 16, at 8:00 pm ET / 7:00 pm CT, on Canal de Las Estrellas in Mexico.
