While you just finished filming Black adam, a blockbuster Dc comics, everyone seems to want to snatch the services of Dwayne johnson. Present in most of today’s blockbusters (Hobbs & Shaw, Jungle Cruise, Jumanji…), the versatile American actor could, if we stick to the words of the producer Hiram García (Fast and Furious), soon join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, directed by Kevin feige.
This is what he revealed during an interview with Collider. The manager of the saga Fast and Furious announced that Dwayne johnson Y Kevin feige they had recently contacted and that while this had not resulted in anything tangible, the door was wide open for future collaboration:
“Dwayne and Kevin [Feige] We have a great relationship and have already flirted with some ideas, but nothing serious. There is a mutual admiration for what each of us has done and what Kevin has built there is truly amazing. At the end of the day, for us, we’ve always been very committed to what we wanted to build with Black Adam. Black Adam was the character we wanted to bring to life and we thought DJ [Dwayne Johnson] was meant to play. Once we focused on this character over ten years ago, it was hard to imagine DJ could play someone else. ”
There have always been jokes related to the arrival of The rock in the MCU. The pike had been thrown by the Russo Brothers, who announced the former fighter as the one who in turn could lead all the Avengers. It is impossible to know at the moment if the actor will be able to join the universe of superheroes or not due to his agenda as a minister.
