The Spanish Josep Maria Marti (Racing Fields) won this Saturday the Formula 3 sprint test held in the streets of Monte Carlo, within the framework of the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix, which takes place on the same circuit.
Pepe Martí, who started from pole position in the sprint test -23 laps and on the 3,337-meter track of the principality of the Costa Azul-, held first place and won handily, with a time of 35 minutes, 47 seconds and nine tenths; with an advantage of eight seconds and one tenth over the Italian Leonardo Fornaroli (Trident); and, in this way, He achieved his second victory of the season, after the one he obtained in Bahrain.
The Swiss Gregoire Saucy (ART Grand Prix) finished the test in third position, eight seconds and eight tenths behind the young rider from Barcelona, just 17 years old, who ‘sponsors’ his compatriot the Asturian double F1 world champion Fernando Alonso.
