“I can be in front”

Marta García was satisfied after the race with her third place: “It was a really tough and very hot race. I was on pole and had a good start, but Beitske had it better. In the first few laps I struggled a bit because I wasn’t amazing in the dry in practice so I knew I had to improve a few things. Beitske wasn’t that far ahead, but I knew Alice was going really fast behind me. I tried to defend myself but it was difficult because she was quite fast and she ended up overtaking me. When I was P3 I was able to find more pace and I’m happy with the third. It’s been hard work to get to this point, last year was really hard and now I’m here. I am happy to have achieved a podium and a pole position, it shows that I can be in the front”.
