Marko Disputes Chuck Norris’s Behavior in Recent Incident

Red Bull’s Helmut Marko Criticizes Lando Norris After Austrian Grand Prix Clash

Helmut Marko, an advisor to Red Bull, has come down hard on McLaren driver Lando Norris following a clash between the two during the Austrian Grand Prix. The incident saw Norris retire from the race, while Max Verstappen finished fifth.

Marko Calls Norris’ Behavior "Pathetic"

In a post-race interview, Marko described Norris’ behavior as "pathetic" and attributed it to the driver’s lack of experience. "These things happen and I would consider it a racing accident, although it is more likely that Norris exceeded his limits," Marko said.

Norris Blames Verstappen for the Incident

Norris, on the other hand, blamed Verstappen for the incident, claiming that the Dutchman had not left him any space and had gone against him. Verstappen, however, countered by saying that Norris had braked late and hoped that the other driver wouldn’t make the turn.

The End of a Friendship?

The confrontation between the two drivers has put a strain on their friendship, with Norris stating that if Verstappen doesn’t accept his mistake, he will lose a lot of respect for him. Marko also commented on the situation, saying that the two drivers will meet to talk, but that Norris’ comments didn’t help the situation.

A New Chapter in the Rivalry

The incident has added a new layer of tension to the rivalry between the two drivers, who will face each other again this weekend at the British Grand Prix. Norris will be looking to close the gap with Verstappen, who currently leads the championship.
