Mario Mola heads the list of the Spanish Team for the European triathlon in Madrid

The current Duathlon World Champion in Ibiza, Mario Mola, heads a list composed in the male category by Antonio Serrat, David Cantero, Alberto González, Genis Grau and David Castro, while in the female category Miriam Casillas, Anna Godoy, Noelia Juan, Marta Pintanel, Sara Guerrero, Cecilia Santamaría, Natalia Castro and Iratxe Arenal They will be the Spanish representatives.

“We are prepared to play this European Championship and very motivated because we run at home. It is a wide selection, we give youngsters the opportunity and we also expect the performance of veterans and people who are in contention for the qualification for the Games and it is that in Madrid there are very important points in games with a view to qualifying for Paris. But first of all, we are playing a European Championship at home and we have to show the high level of Spanish triathletes”, stated the Spanish triathlon coach, Iñaki Arenal.

The European Championship in Madrid is the second event of this historic year 2023 after the last Ibiza Multisport World Championship and The Grand Final of the World Series which will be held in Pontevedra from September 20 to 24.
