Marc Márquez is back on top after a thrilling sprint race at the French Grand Prix. The Spanish rider took the win, beating out his brother Álex Márquez and Fermín Aldeguer, both riding for Gresini Ducati. This was Aldeguer’s first podium finish, making it an all-Spanish affair on the top step.
A Tough Day for Some
Not everyone had a good day, though. Miguel Oliveira finished 20th, last among the riders who made it to the finish line. He struggled with his bike after returning from an injury. Oliveira trailed the winner by 44.807 seconds. Former world champion Pecco Bagnaia and Brad Binder didn’t even finish, crashing out of the race.
Fabio Quartararo had a decent run, coming in fourth after starting from pole position. Márquez’s win helped him regain the lead in the MotoGP standings.
