Marc Márquez still does not know when he will reappear

Marc Márquez’s first appearance before the media since he fell in early November of last year, doing motocross, and was seriously injured, suffering double vision problems (diplopia) as in 2011. That came when he began to leave behind the pain in his right shoulder, the result of the fracture in the humerus in July 2020, due to a fall in the Jerez 1 race that caused him to miss the entire season and also led him to miss both first appointments in 2021. Now, after missing the last two tests of last year and the first practices of the 2022 preseason, he is back and appears together with his Honda teammates, Pol, Álex and Nakagami, in an unequivocal sign that the recovery of the Repsol Honda rider is on the right track, although he still doesn’t know when he will definitely be ready to reappear.

“The goal is to be in the first test or the first race,” assured the eight-time world champion, leaving it up in the air if he will be in a position to participate in the momentous Sepang test in Malaysia, scheduled for 5 and 6 February, or he will have to wait for the world premiere on March 6 at the Qatar GP. In between there will be a test at the new Indonesian circuit, in Mandalika, from February 11 to 13, but he has not referred to it.
