Marc Márquez lays the foundations to crush Ducati

After 2 and a half months out of competition, the rider from Lleida returned to the tracks where he showed that he is hungry for victory, despite the fact that his bike is not helping him at all.

49 days have passed since the Lleida pilot Marc Márquez was seriously injured, but this weekend we saw him in action again. Although a little more was expected on his return, the important thing is that he showed that the surgery on his right hand went well. In the same way, his recovery was also satisfactory, and he only has to adapt to competition again.

Marc Márquez had his setback in the Portuguese GP, and then missed the races in Argentina, the United States and Spain. In this way, the Cervera’s Thunder he returned for the French GP, where he was second in Qualifying and fifth in the Sprint. However, on the day of the race (Sunday) he had a new crash with two laps to go, which again leaves him without points.

Marc Márquez continues to show that his problem has to do with the motorcycle

The Italians Bagnaia and Bezzecchi continue to lead the general table of the MotoGP 2023, aboard their powerful machines by Ducati. To think that the driver from Cervaria had a chance on his return to the tracks after 2 and a half months away, was illogical. And even more so if the Repsol Honda continues to suffer from insolvable mechanical problems.

Márquez is getting everything he can from his bike, and it seems that this is barely reaching him to rub shoulders with the great Italian riders. Had it not been for the crash two laps from the end, he would have achieved his first podium and even his first victory. The man from Lleida still has faith that his engineering team can remedy the constant problems with his bike, so that he has a chance to beat Ducati

Difficult race ahead for Marc Márquez

The next GP will be in the land of the current leaders, an arena that makes things even more complicated for the Spanish Repsol Honda rider. Once again Italy is ready to receive the best world motorcycling riders at the Mugello International Autodrome. This is an opportunity for the man from Lleida to show his greatness, and make it clear that despite being in 19th position, he still has chances to win the title of the season.

Repsol Honda should also lend a hand to Marc Márquez, as it is a joint effort that could yield good results. We are sure that the Trueno de Cervera will get its first podium, if the bike flows optimally in its mechanical operation. The advantage is that the Italian GP will run for a month.
