Marc Anthony is preparing for his first-ever Las Vegas residency, a milestone that has the iconic Puerto Rican singer reflecting on his legacy as both a father and an artist. The exclusive engagement is set to begin in 2026 at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas’ BleauLive theater.
Anthony described the residency to Us Weekly as a "very unique opportunity to offer a show, a concert the world has never seen before." He noted that this format is distinct from his usual stadium and arena performances.
"I can sing songs I’ve never performed before, duets, in English, the hits, and interesting arrangements," Anthony explained. He added that "all these songs are specifically designed for the Fontainebleau."
The residency is billed as the only time fans will see this particular combination of hits and arrangements. Anthony promised a "totally different experience" featuring all his number-one songs.
Anthony selected the Fontainebleau for this special experience due to its high-end amenities. He called it "the best in its class," praising its "six stars, the best restaurants, the best nightlife."
The venue offers a "very, very unique experience in every sense," Anthony stated. He considers it "simply the best hotel I’ve visited on the Las Vegas Strip."
The residency dates include February 13, 14, 15, 20, and 21, 2026. Additional shows are scheduled for July 24, 25, 29, and 31, and August 1, 2026, with more dates expected.
Some songs on the setlist have not been performed live in decades, promising fans a memorable experience. Anthony expressed excitement about singing tracks he hasn’t performed in "more than 20, 30 years" that remain hits.
"The Fontainebleau really allowed me to put together a very, very, very unique show," he said, expressing confidence that fans "will love it."
Beyond his music career, Anthony balances another full-time responsibility: fatherhood. The six-time Latin Grammy winner welcomed his seventh child in June 2023 with his wife, Nadia Ferreira, whom he married in January 2023.
Anthony shares daughter Ariana, 31, and son Chase, 28, with ex-girlfriend Debbie Rosado. He also has sons Cristian, 24, and Ryan, 22, from his marriage to former wife Dayanara Torres.
With ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, Anthony has 17-year-old twins Maximilian and Emme.
Anthony is open about his love for his family and children. He told Us Weekly that he always considers them when preparing for a performance.
"Every time I put together a show, I ask myself what all my children would think if they were sitting there at the same time," Anthony shared. He aims for them to be proud and keeps their perspective "always present in my mind."
He emphasized that everything he has done in life has been with his family in mind. "The final product represents not only me but us as a family," he stated.
Having performed for over 30 years, Anthony noted that his music "impacts me differently" as he ages. He has "lived with [the songs]" for decades.
"Now I can appreciate them a little more, because it’s one thing to create music and another to celebrate it," he explained. He views the songs as "old friends" he’s looking forward to reuniting with on stage.
Despite his numerous accolades, Anthony has no plans to slow down. He told Us Weekly that the world will see "a lot of new music… transcending genres" in the coming year.
The residency provides a platform "to celebrate what I’ve done in the past and also new music," Anthony affirmed. He concluded that his goal is "to keep doing what I do."
The Fontainebleau residency will give fans a chance to hear "what I really want to sing." Anthony noted that he cannot perform all his number-one hits in other formats.
However, in Las Vegas, he will choose "every number one I haven’t been able to perform." Anthony views his legacy through these shows as "a continuation of art at its highest level."
He wants to remind people "why they came out to enjoy a unique show." The artist and band will be "giving their all, having fun."
