Team India decided to bat first after winning the toss in that game. Due to the brilliant performance of the Pakistani fast bowlers, the Indian team couldn’t even play the full 50 runs and only had to score 266 runs in 48.5 overs. In the Indian team’s innings, Ishaan Kishan scored 82 runs and vice-captain Hardik Pandya played crucial innings with 87 runs. After that, the team got the third-highest score of fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who hit 16 runs.

With the cancellation of this game, the Pakistani team has qualified for the Super 4. In their first group game, Pakistan defeated the Nepalese team by 238 runs. Captained by Babar Azam, the Pakistan team will play their first Super 4 game against the other team that qualified from Group B at the Lahore stadium on September 6th.
On the other hand, because of the cancellation of this game, the Indian team may have gotten 1, but in order to reach the Super 4, it is necessary to win the game against the Nepalese team on September 4th.
