Manon Fiorot will be playing at UFC 266 on September 25 to face Mayra Bueno Silva. The French fighter wishes to continue her rise in power there.

How are you as you approach this new fight?
All the preparation went well as always. Well, I was not able to take advantage of the summer but we will see after the fight to rest and take a few days off.
What is the “game plan” for this fight?
The goal is obviously to knock her out as quickly as possible. This has been my policy from the start and it does not change. You have to hit hard to get into the Top 15 and then have the opportunity to legitimately claim an opponent from the Top 10. If I knock her out from the 1er round, or maximum in the 2e round, that will be perfect.
Mayra Bueno Silva does not seem to be afraid of taking hits …
It comes from the foot-fist, from Thai boxing. She’s a warrior, a brawler. She rushes. So, it is possible to knock her out because she is uncovering herself. It takes a lot of hits indeed but I like this style.
And then the goal is to have a Top 10. Do you have any opponents in mind?
I am waiting to see because they will fight right after me.
What about Valentina Shevchenko?
I’m happy to fight under the same card as her. I hope to have the chance to meet her. If I continue to improve, in a year or two I would like to meet her.
