It seems the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, but with a surprising twist. Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, is making waves, not as an actor, but as the director of his first show, “The Bads of Bollywood.” Buzz around the project is growing, especially after its preview revealed a star-studded cast. One of those stars, veteran actor Manoj Pahwa, has been full of praise for the young director. He even said Aryan is a lot like his famous father.
Pahwa, who is part of the show, recently shared his thoughts on working with Aryan. He told The Print that Aryan is truly following in his dad’s footsteps. The young director is incredibly passionate about his work. He puts in a lot of effort, just like Shah Rukh Khan. Pahwa noted that Aryan understands the high expectations that come with his family name. He’s glad Aryan didn’t take this lightly. Instead, he poured himself into the project. Aryan is dedicated to his craft and truly loves what he does. In Pahwa’s eyes, Aryan possesses all the qualities of a good director.
Behind the Scenes with a Perfectionist
Manoj Pahwa also talked about his on-set experience with Aryan. He mentioned that his first meeting with Aryan, where they discussed the role and story, went far beyond what he expected. It was Aryan’s very first project, and he’s still a young man. Pahwa was genuinely surprised by how well Aryan had written the story. Working with him on set was a fresh experience. Aryan didn’t shy away from multiple retakes to get each shot exactly right. Even though he’s new to directing, he isn’t easily satisfied. He’s a true perfectionist. Pahwa admitted that sometimes the constant retakes could be a bit frustrating. However, he quickly added that the final result definitely made it all worthwhile.
