TV actor Manish Goel has broken his silence on the rumors surrounding his exit from the popular serial “Anupama” and allegations of a fallout with lead actress Rupali Ganguly.
Temporary Role
In a conversation with Money Control, Manish Goel clarified that his character Raghav was never meant to be a permanent fixture in the show. He stated that his role was always intended to be a short-term one, lasting only four months, of which he has already completed three. Goel emphasized that when an actor’s cameo is extended, it’s a bonus, but if it’s not, that’s okay too, as they are informed about it beforehand. This explanation puts to rest speculation about any sudden changes or conflicts leading to his character’s exit.
No Fallout with Rupali Ganguly
Manish Goel also dismissed rumors of a disagreement with Rupali Ganguly, saying their acquaintance predates the current show. This is their fourth collaboration, and he believes that without a spark, there’s no fire. He expressed puzzlement over why people spread such false stories.
The actor joined “Anupama” earlier this year as Raghav, adding a layer of drama and intrigue to the storyline. The show remains one of TV’s favorites, with Adrija Roy and Shivam Khajuria also playing key roles.
