India vs Zimbabwe T20 Series: Team India Makes Spectacular Comeback After Initial Defeat
The Indian cricket team is currently playing a five-match T20 series on the Zimbabwe tour. The first two matches of the series have been played, with Team India making a stunning comeback after facing defeat in the first match.
3 Players Made a Comeback After Winning the T20 World Cup
The selectors had announced the Indian team for the Zimbabwe tour in the middle of the T20 World Cup. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson, and Shivam Dubey, who were part of Team India in the T20 World Cup, were also selected for the Zimbabwe tour. However, after winning the T20 World Cup, the Indian team got stuck in Barbados, West Indies, and the BCCI had to change the squad. Sai Sudarshan, Harshit Rana, and Jitesh Sharma were brought in for the first two T20 matches against Zimbabwe.
The Sword Hangs Over These Players
Now that the first two matches of the series have been played, only Sai Sudarshan got a chance to play, while Harshit Rana and Jitesh Sharma remained on the bench. With Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson, and Shivam Dubey joining the Indian squad on the Zimbabwe tour, Sai Sudarshan, Harshit, and Jitesh are in danger of being dropped from the squad, let alone a place in the playing eleven. However, the BCCI has not taken any decision on this yet.
