Man Shot in Back Dies in Union Neighborhood Incident Near Leopoldo Alas and Cyrene Streets

A disturbing incident unfolded in the neighborhood of Union, where a 35-year-old man was found shot in the back. The man, who had a history of homicide, was discovered on Friday afternoon in the area of Leopoldo Alas and Cyrene streets. According to Miguel Chagas, a journalist from News Agency who was present at the scene, the victim was initially taken to the location of Juan Jacobo Rousseau and Lindoro Forteza on a motorcycle, but his condition rapidly deteriorated, and he lost consciousness.

The individuals who had moved him to Rousseau and Forteza returned to the neighborhood to alert others, prompting neighbors who had witnessed the incident to contact the police. An emergency unit was quickly dispatched to the scene, and the victim was rushed to the Pasteur hospital. Unfortunately, despite the prompt medical attention, the man arrived at the hospital in serious condition.
