Man in Puerto Rico runs over a pedestrian and loads part of the dismembered body on a vehicle

A 28-year-old man was arrested for allegedly drunkenly running over a pedestrian on Monday and load dismembered body part onto your car to his residence, police said.

According to the authorities, the driver, identified as Julio Edwin Jiménez Rosario, was driving his vehicle on the PR-3 highway in Río Grande (northeast), when it hit a man who was crossing the road and who died on the spot.

Jimenez did not stop at the scene and continued on his way carrying part of the body of the pedestrian on his vehicle to his residence in the aforementioned municipality, where he was arrested by the police.

When the authorities arrived at the driver’s residence, he underwent an alcohol test, which yielded 0.19%.

The limit in Puerto Rico by law for driving under the influence of alcohol is 0.8%.

Agents assigned to the Technical Services Division of the Criminal Investigations Corps of the Fajardo Area, together with the prosecutor Sandra Cortez, were in charge of the corresponding investigation.
