Man Charged with Attempted Murder After Driving into Liverpool Fans Parade

A car plows into a crowd of Liverpool fans celebrating their team’s championship win on Water Street in Liverpool, England. The driver, a 53-year-old man, is suspected of multiple crimes, including attempted murder.

He allegedly followed an ambulance into the closed-off street, where fans were gathered for a parade. The road had been temporarily reopened to let the ambulance through to help someone who had suddenly fallen ill.

The incident left 50 people injured, with 11 still in the hospital. All are reported to be in stable condition and recovering well.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage to understand the driver’s movements before the incident. They emphasize that this is not being treated as a terrorist attack and ask people not to share sensitive content or speculation about the motive on social media.
