Bollywood actor Annu Kapoor is a well-known star in the industry. Recently, the news came that Annu Kapoor had been cheated. A person has cheated you out of thousands of rupees. Now the police have arrested the defendants in this case. Police have arrested the person who cheated Annu Kapoor for Rs 4.36 lakh in the name of KYC.
The police made this arrest after about two months of Andheri in Mumbai. The defendant’s name is stated as Ashish Paswan. According to the report, the police have recovered two mobile phones and some documents from the defendants. Taking immediate action, the police have frozen the amount of 3.08 lakhs from the bank.
Annu Kapoor had said in her complaint that a few months ago a person had informed her over the phone that her KYC was not up to date. In the complaint, the actor had said that he had asked to share bank details and OTP. Annu had also shared all the information regarding him as a bank employee. After this all the money was withdrawn from her account. Annu had said that she found out about this after receiving a call from the bank’s customer service.
The actor had said that he found out from the bank’s call that his account had been tampered with and that money had been withdrawn from his account. After which he had registered a case at the Oshiwara police station. While talking about the work front, Annu Kapoor was last seen in the film ‘Chehre’ released in the year 2021. Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan were seen in the lead roles of the film. Apart from this, there are many upcoming Annu Kapoor projects, for which the actor is busy preparing himself.
