Malvín House Fire Leaves One Hospitalized, Family Seeking Help After Total Losses

A house in Malvín caught fire on Friday, with flames breaking out in the afternoon. The fire damaged two rooms completely, while the rest of the house suffered partial damage. When firefighters arrived, they found a woman and two men inside, all adults. The crew quickly escorted the woman and one man outside, but the third man refused to leave. Firefighters then called in the Republican Guard for backup. Together, they managed to get the third man out safely. He was taken to Pasteur Hospital due to smoke inhalation, while the other two were treated on the spot and released. Carina Caimi, the woman who was inside, said they will need help to rebuild.
