Real Mallorca Drops Points Against Osasuna with Late Goal Concession Again

The recent match against Osasuna has left a bittersweet taste for Real Mallorca, as they saw three points slip away in the dying minutes of the game. In the 94th minute, their hopes of securing a win were dashed, leaving the team with a sense of disappointment. Muriqi’s goal in the 81st minute had seemed to secure the win, but the team’s inability to hold on to the result led to another disappointing outcome.

This is not an isolated incident for Real Mallorca, as they have experienced similar disappointments in three previous occasions at their home stadium, Son Moix. In the first round, they faced a similar situation against Villarreal, conceding a goal in the 94th minute. More recently, they suffered a loss against Betis, with a goal scored in the 96th minute, and now against Osasuna, where they lost two points with a late goal.

Self-criticism and deficiencies

The team, led by Arrasate, is currently struggling with their performance and morale. Muriqi, the team’s striker, expressed his frustration and self-criticism after the game, stating, “I’m wrong. I’ve been marking goal for 2 months. I have to blame myself.” The team’s recent streak of five losses in total and three in LaLiga has been a cause for concern, and although they managed to score again, the point they earned was not enough to lift their spirits. The shortcomings in the team’s template, particularly the lack of a solid substitute bench, are still evident and need to be addressed.
