A fire incident has taken place in the residential building of foreigners in Maldives, due to which ten people have died and many others have been injured.
According to Indian media reports, a fire broke out in a residential building in Malé, the capital of the Maldives, from the top floor of which ten people were found with charred bodies, including nine Indians and one Bangladeshi citizen.
Officials say that most of the migrant workers were living in the fire-affected building.
There was a garage on the ground floor of the building where the fire broke out, from where the fire started and engulfed the entire building.
In a tweet, NDMA Maldives said that arrangements have been made to stay at Mufanu Stadium for the displaced persons in the incident and immediate relief and assistance is being provided to them.
