Malayalam actress Rini Ann George has recently come forward with serious allegations. She claims a young politician from a party in Kerala sent her inappropriate messages. George shared her story on Wednesday, revealing a disturbing pattern of behavior.
She told the media that she first connected with this politician through social media. His unwanted messages began about three years ago. The actress described receiving highly objectionable texts from him. At one point, she claims he even offered to book her a room at a five-star hotel. He then asked her to meet him there.
Despite these unsettling experiences, Rini Ann George chose not to reveal the politician’s name. She also kept his party’s identity private. However, she did state that she informed the party’s senior leaders about the situation. Her complaints, sadly, went nowhere.
George shared her deep disappointment with the party’s response. She expressed that her trust in them was shattered. What’s more, after she made her complaint, the very politician she accused received important promotions within the party.
Rini Ann George stressed that she herself had only received messages and faced no physical harm. Yet, she felt compelled to speak up. She learned through her friends that other women had also endured harassment. She is now using her voice to support them.
