Making a Difference: Inspirational Women in Science

We kick off the third season of MAKE a Difference with a special program focused on the Paris Games. We start with a visit to the set of a woman who is making a significant impact on the handball courts. Paula Arcos, known for her tenacity and determination, has rapidly become one of the best players in Spanish women’s handball. She made her senior national team debut at just 19 years old in the Tokyo Games and has since achieved numerous accolades, including MVP of the Iberdrola Guerreras League and champion of the Norwegian League and Cup with Vipers. We also spoke with Laura Fuertes, the first Spanish boxer to win a world medal and the first to qualify for the Games, about her experiences. Finally, we conclude the program and season with swimmer MarĂ­a Delgado, who has accumulated a remarkable 12 world and European medals at just 26 years old. We went behind the scenes to learn the secrets of her success and explore how she’s preparing for her third Games.
